Key As we are Opticians then
we supply mainly prescription eyewear. Having said that why
should we confine ourselves to that. To make it easier to select
the right product we have use the key below. This means that
you can keep a look out for the right eyewear to meet your
requirements.
If you
do not wear spectacles then look out for
the "None Rx" Logo on our products.
"Direct
Rx" - means we place the prescription
powered lenses directly into the frame,
mask or goggle.
"Insert
Rx" - means that we use a frame, mask
or goggle and place a special insert behind
the outer protective lens with your prescription
spectacle lens in it.
"Ready
Rx" - Some of our goggles, spectacles
or masks have lenses already made for them.
As they are produced in large quantities
it means the price is usually favourable.
You may find that your prescription isn't
suitable for this type - eg if you are
highly astigmatic or need both reading
and distance lenses.
Rx
- This is simply a shortened medical word
which means prescription
